The bow is the biggest piece on the string and sits dead center, so hang it from the middle of the mantel and the rest falls into place on either side. This Christmas paper garland runs about 7 ft with 13 pieces: holly at each end, then a stocking, tree, gingerbread man, ornament, Santa, peppermint, reindeer, candy cane, wreath, and gingerbread house. Gold foil catches on the reindeer's antlers and the ornament cap, and the pinks and blues keep it on the colorful, retro Christmas side of red and green. The pieces come sewn on cream thread, so it's ready to hang straight out of the envelope. Tape the ends above a window or across the back wall at a kids' Christmas party and it'll hold through December.
